Before Applying to ITEP

Students will need to complete the following prior to applying to ITEP:

STEP 1: Ensure you completed,

• Arizona General Education Certificate (AGEC) or equivalent
• Approximately 60 units of college credit
• US/AZ Constitution (POL 210 or equivalent)
• 2 semesters of Math for Elementary Educators (MATH 302 A/B sequence or equivalent)
• 4th-semester proficiency in a second language or demonstrate fluency to test-out

STEP 2: Email unofficial transcripts to Academic Advisor, Alex Nichelson (anichelson@arizona.edu)

• This will provide, if additional prerequisites are needed or not, and a start date if admitted to ITEP.
