Indigenous Pedagogies Speaker Series (IPSS), Fall 2024

ITEP and our co-sponsors Borderlands Education Center, Confluence Center for Creative Inquiry, and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) invite you to join us for our first virtual PD session of the Fall 2024 Indigenous Pedagogy Speaker Series (IPSS), "Indigenous Philosophies & Storytelling," on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 6:00pm (MST/Phoenix) via Zoom.
We've invited various Indigenous guest speakers to share their perspectives on "All Souls Day" which is honored and recognized during this season. Our speakers will share traditions and stories from their Indigenous communities of Mexico and Southern Arizona. Members of the Mazahua, Nahua, Tohono O'odham, and Pascua Yaqui communities will provide stories of this tradition.
