ITEP Conference Exclusive to ITEP Teachers and Candidates

This conference will revolve around Indigenous Education that will consist of ITEP teachers and candidates currently in the program to be provided an opportunity for professional growth and development as Indigenous teachers. The overarching goals of the conference are to:

• Cultivate learning environments that Sustain our Indigenous Identities -centering our spirit;
• share your work and experiences of being an Indigenous teacher;
• premiere efforts of your curriculum development as Indigenous educators that critically engage students and the ways you work to indigenize the classroom; and 
• shift to privilege teaching through an Indigenous lens
• reconnect to our traditional ways of being to sustain our identities
